Enjoy the Great Outdoors Plan a day out visiting the awe-inspiring Red Rocks Park, 15 miles away in Morrison. Take in the 250 million year rock formations and try out the hiking trails. The rocks form an amphitheatre which is a popular venue for outdoor concerts. You and your date can take in the great outdoors, while spending some quality time getting to know each others.
Visit the Gardens The Denver Botanic Gardens provide a serene and colorful backdrop for a date. Denver’s many parks will let you and your date enjoy the city’s spectacular scenery while you bike, hike, run or stroll. Washington Park, known as Wash Park, also has beautiful flower gardens, two lakes, and running and biking trails. Another scenic venue is Four Mile Historic Park, along the banks of Cherry Creek, which is open in the afternoons until 4 p.m.
Music in the Park Rock out at Red Rocks Park Amphitheatre to famous bands, while you enjoy the ambience of the 70 million year old red sandstone rocks.
